Important Rules

Sum of Ranks (SOR) for each line per match should be in ascending order

Difference of Ranks (DOR) for each line per match should be 3 or smaller

Valid Example:

  • L1: R1 & R3 – SOR 4
  • L2: R2 & R4 – SOR 6
  • L3: R5 & R8 – SOR 13
  • L4: R6 & R7 – SOR 13
  • L5: R10 & R11

DOR Examples:

  • L1: R2 & R3 – DOR 1 – ✅ VALID
  • L2: R1 & R5 – DOR 4 – ❌ INVALID

Scheduling Conflict Resolution

If scheduling conflict persists, captains have 2 options:

  1. Automatic scheduling: Match set to play-by date at 7 PM (Home team provides court & balls)
  2. Use a late pass

Late Pass System

  • Every team gets 6 late passes
  • Matches 1-6: Late pass allows 2 weeks extension
  • Match 7: Late pass allows only 1 week extension
  • Playoffs: Late passes not applicable
  • Only one late pass per line per match
  • Must be invoked before match is scheduled
  • After scheduling, can only be invoked if all players agree on alternative date
  • When invoked, line must be scheduled in next 3 days

Points System

  • Winner of Match – 1 Point
  • Team losing with 0 Winning Set – 0 Point
  • Team winning by opponent's forfeiture – 1 Point
  • Team losing by Forfeiture – 0 Point

🔄 Rules for Changing Players in Published Lineup

General Rule: No player replacement unless genuine reason mentioned in scheduling rules. Captains must exhaust all late passes before replacing players.

General Rule: All scores reported as is, except for following scenarios:

  2. If still tied: Highest total number of sets
  3. If still tied: Total number of games

Playoff Match Rules

Playoff Format

Quarterfinals:

  • QF1: Division A Rank 1 (Home) vs Division B Rank 4 (Away)
  • QF2: Division B Rank 1 (Home) vs Division A Rank 4 (Away)
  • QF3: Division A Rank 2 (Home) vs Division B Rank 3 (Away)
  • QF4: Division B Rank 2 (Home) vs Division A Rank 3 (Away)

Semifinals:

  • SF1: Winner of QF1 (Home) vs Winner of QF4 (Away)
  • SF2: Winner of QF2 (Home) vs Winner of QF3 (Away)

Finals:

  • Winner of SF1 vs Winner of SF2
